Presentation of the Faculty of Law and Political Science

The Institute of Legal and Administrative Sciences was established during the 1997/1998 university season of the University Center in M’sila, and following the issuance of Executive Decree No. 01/274 of 09/18/2001, which includes the establishment of the University of M’sila, the Institute of Legal and Administrative Sciences has risen to the College of Law, and has witnessed the graduation of the first batch holding a certificate Bachelor of Laws during the 2000/2001 academic season. With the increase in demand for the college and a desire to expand the fields of training, the Department of Political Science and International Relations was opened during the 2002/2003 academic season. Following the issuance of Executive Decree No. 12-361 of 08/10/2012, the college was renamed to the College of Law and Political Science. In the context of the shift towards the new education system LMD (BA, MA and PhD) two fields of training were opened:

First: In law, a criminal law is devoted during the 2008/2009 season, and a special law during the 2012/2013 academic season

The second: in political science. The academic year 2009/2010 witnessed the graduation of the first batch of a BA in the new system, LMD.
