M’sila University continues the openness to its socio-economic environment through other agreements of cooperation and partnership, which present more benefits for the students, by their professional integration in the economic companies and establishments.
In this respect, the university has signed a partnership agreement with the Industrial Equipment Maintenance Company “MEI”. It is a leading company in the production, maintenance and repair of heavy industrial equipment, especially electricity. It was agreed to establish a professional Master of Renewable Energy, in coordination with the Faculty of Technology and Science.
A decision to establish a joint commission between the University of M’sila and the above-mentioned company has been issued, for monitoring the implementation of the agreement terms and to consolidate the cooperation between both parties.
The Rector of the university, Professor Kamal Badari, emphasized that the openness of the University of M’Sila to its socio-economic environment has become an urgent necessity imposed by the current and emerging changes in the economic environment in Algeria today. Thus, the university ought to ensure a professional integration of students, help PhD students to link their research with the economic reality and to ensure that economic institutions and companies benefit from the resolution of the problems they face in various areas.
It should therefore be pointed out that the University of M’sila has concluded more than 30 cooperation agreements in 2017 and 2018. As a result, more than 120 graduates have been recruited, including 30 engineers in Condor-Bordj Bou-Arréridj, and 12 Master graduates from Hodna Lait – M’sila and other companies.
In the same context, the vice-rector of external relations Mr / Hachemi Ben Ouaddah declared that the University of M’sila aims to ensure access for the heads of economic establishments and companies to the equipment and means available in the laboratories of university. Thus, lower cost services can be offered, particularly with respect to each company’s experiences outside the university with high costs. Also, M’sila University offers training and language learning services at the Intensive Language Training Center for company executives.
